This painting was completed at my Son-In-Law, Msgt. Shawn Goggin (ret.) request in dedication to the 14th Pelican Squadron at Charleston, AFB in Charleston, SC. The scene depicts the Eastern Brown Pelican common to SC and the background with the storm clouds represent the troubled skies the 14th Squadron flies in, as well as, the home of the 14th Squadron in the low country of SC. The body of water where the Shrimp boats are docked is Shem's Creek where it enters the Cooper River and Charleston Bay. Completed at Shawn's request and dedicated at his retirement ceremony. I had the honor of meeting many of his fellow Pelicans and what a great group of dedicated service men both active and retired. Thank you all for your service!
Prints are produced with the finest archival materials. Image size is half size (15" x 22" with a 1" border. Each print is signed and number by hand by the artist in a limited edition of 50 prints of each size, Larger print at full size 22" x 30" is also available for a total of 100 signed and numbered prints. After these signed limited editions are sold, Prints will be sold unsigned in an open edition.
